Hua Hin

The
oldest and most traditional beach resort in Thailand combines the attractions of a modern holiday destination with the charm and fascination of a still active fishing port. Hua Hin located 281 kilometers south of Bangkok. One of the charms of Hua Hin is that it is holiday resort for foreigners and Thai. Many Thai family’s from Bangkok spent their short holidays or weekends in Hua Hin.

Hua Hin Beaches
The peaceful five-kilometre long beach stretches from the town centre to Khao Takiab, It is ideal for jogging or romantic stroll under the moonlight. At Khao Takiab there is another very nice beach  with  a relaxed atmosphere. Khao Takiab Bay is very popular especially with local people (Thai people). Khao Takiab Massage, Saam Pee Nong Thai Massage can be found close to Khao Takiab Beach.

His Majesty The King’s Klai Kang Won Palace
Klai Kang Won, meaning “far from worries”, it is designed under European architecture and was built in the late 1920s by King Rama VII. It is still used today by the present King Bhumibol.

Marukhathaiyawan Palace
This beachside palace was designed by an Italian architect and built of golden teak, It used to be the summer residence of King Rama VI.
Khao Takiab
Located at the southern end of Hua Hin Beach, the temple-topped hill of Khao Takiab is well worth climbing for its numerous Buddhist shrines and the panoramic views. The hill is home of a large population  macaques (monkeys)

Hua Hin Night Market
Hua Hin Night Market is popular with both tourists and locals you can enjoy thai food, souvenirs, clothing and general goods.

Sam Roi Yod National Park
Literally meaning “three hundred peaks”, this is the first coastal national park and covers over 24,500 acres. Its marshlands support a large variety of waterfowl species and the limestone rocks are home to three popular caves: Phraya Nakhon, Kaeo and Sai. Phraya Nakhon Cave contains a pavilion, built in 1890 by King Rama V.

Pa-la-u Waterfall
A beautiful, 15-tier waterfall is set amidst a rich and fertile virgin forest, about 60 kilometres west of Hua Hin town centre.

Kaeng Krachan National Park
Thailand’s largest national park is located approximately 60 kilometres north-west of Hua Hin and extends towards the Burmese border. It is characterised by forested hills, mountain, waterways, and the Kaeng Krachan Dam, a scenic reservoir.

Royal Hua Hin Golf Course
The first golf course in Thailand, it was built in 1924, and is set amongst rolling coastal hills. The 14th hole is very special , with an exotic glimpse of a Buddhist temple halfway up a densely wooded slope.
