The city of Ayutthaya,

Ayutthaya is Thailand's former Capital; it's located about an hours drive by car from Bangkok.
The city is surrounded by several rivers. Ayutthaya was home to 32 Siamese kings. In 1767 Ayutthaya was destroyed by the Burmese. Because of the importance in the past Ayutthaya is home to the Phra Nnakhon Si Ayutthaya historical park, designated a
Unesco cultural world heritage site in december 1991.
